I sold two NFTs yesterday! A gold NFT and bonze NFT for Blood Mist (disclaimer – friends bought ’em. But hey, ya gotta start somewhere). I’ve sold a handful of eBooks and audiobooks as well. The momentum now in my artistic endeavours is much like the momentum of the waves beneath my surfboard. That shit can be one helluva ride. I am trying to wrap my head around the marketing I’ll need to do to build into this momentum. I’m looking forward to sitting with Hannibal for an interview that will hopefully allow me to share my art with the winder world. I’m also about to launch into a full blown recoding project of my viking novel The Last Northmen. That artistic endeavour seems much like the experience I had running a half marathon around the active volcano Mt. Bromo in Java, Indonesia. Steep and difficult. But, these things can be done! And they can be done well. Just ask the Doc. He ran a double lap around the volcano which was a full marathon.
When I first put out my viking novel to beta readers years ago one of the several ladies that offered to help shared with me the type casting of my female characters as meek and docile. I have my next viking novel loaded in my mind read to be released into my writing software in September (hopefully for sale before January 2023) with a promise to have a powerful female character!
I’m also edging back into a novel that has been on hold. Royal is the story of an old school guy struggling to understand what the hell went wrong with all this technological mumbo jumbo.
