Luigi and I are products of Douglas College. Not scoring high enough marks in high school we got into Douglas College and wrestled in that program run by Dave McKay. A couple of years later we got into Simon Fraser University and competed on the varsity wrestling team.

Luigi is a Canadian Greco Roman Junior National Champ, a Sirium Korean Folk Wrestling heavy weight champ in Toronto, a heavyweight Scottish back hold champ, a British freestyle champ and a Scottish Commonwealth Games team member in 2002 and 2014. Luigi is a three time All American Wrestler in the NAIA for Simon Fraser University. He placed second one of those years. As an older wrestler Luigi placed second at the US open in the veteran’s division.

Luigi is a motorcycle adventurer, nationally ranked car salesman in the USA, poet, storyteller, and at one time, at radio journalist for the Canadian Broadcasting Company. He’s also a wanderer and jack of all trades who loves to garden and live an exciting and interesting life.
